Sunday looks like a good practice day before the match. I will be out at the range around 10:00 am. If we get enough people together we can run some pit service.
Update: got back around 6:00, excellent training day with fast switching tail wind up to 3 min each side. Pretty common on this range.

Even with the stormy weather looming just a reminder the first Thursday 600 yard match is tomorrow 4/3! 2x15 with lunch after the match. Get signed up before 8 am so we can sort out the relays. There is a sight in period starting at 8:30 and score fire will begin at 9:00 am. $20 entry. If there are rain delays there is a plan to throw some clays on the berm and have at them!

The monthly match is a 3 hr match and does not cancel by forecast. We will shoot or have a wind clinic but it we will try regardless. The match director (Brett Mitchell) is getting emails asking and the only thing that stops us is the safety of the shooters. See you on the line.

OK, we did get through the match today with a couple rain delays but nothing too bad. Congratulations to Pete Petros with a excellent score of 299-22x. And Brett Mitchell with the FTR win!!

April 3rd F-Class Match results.
Well we were able to fit the entire match in yesterday. The storms and rain made it pretty challenging but with everyone's help it went really well. Another successful match. Thanks everyone.

It was recently brought to my attention that I had the June monthly listed with the wrong date. The match director Brett has moved it to the 2nd thursday June 12th due to prior commitments. The July 10th, Midwest Championship is also on the 2nd thursday to avoid the 4th of July as well. I will miss the June match so you shooters will have to make Pete Petros earn his keep for me. Go get him!!!

We have alot of shooting coming up right away. 2 day weekend for the sling shooters with fclass on Sunday!! These are NRA APPROVED matches and will count towards your classifications. Next Thursday is the awesome monthly that is always a fun match with a nice lunch for $20. Next month on July 10th is the Midwest Championship so get ready guys and gals.

Even with the heat wave I am still planning on shooting this match. Mark has let us shoot under the covered firing points during these matches when it was hot in the past. I have a mission and it is to take the blue dollar from Mike! See you on the line!
