You don't run Savage mags in yours I see? What work was involved to change over?

Well it is Savage mag glued in a AIC magpul magazine . Lots of fitting and tweaking but it works .

I had some time trying to figure out how to make something look halfway decent for the magazine opening. Here's what I ended up making for the Savage magazines. I have built 2 like this and they both feed and function perfectly

yes ! Got to range little after 4pm and shot till dusky dark . Was tuning on stiller with Lilja and Sightron scope , grabbed other stiller with Shilen Ratchet and put Sightron on it and it was shooting better than lilja with tuner setting and decided to get it ready to shoot in Coleman tomorrow ! I shot group right before it was to dark and no wind . Wind was dieing down the later it got today .

That looks very nice and clean ! I have tried lots of different types of magazines in my Stillers but Savage is really what fits the best and can tweek feed lips to get the best feed angle . The more I shoot the Stiller the smoother it gets . Also polish and put a small knotch on pusher extractor and it helps with ejection . Kinda helps hold rim until it hit ejector pin .

The best mag I had found for my 2500xr was Csspecs welded mags. Right out of the box worked flawlessly .

I shoot 50 and 100 yard benchrest. Have a Stiller 2500 XR in a stilts br stock. I use csspecs 20 round magazines. They work very good. Can shoot fast and don't have to reload. I have 4 of them. They break in and are great. The Stiller is the smothiest rifle I have ever shot.

S&S precision built CZ 457. Shilen 24-in ratchet barrel 14. Twist. Five shot groups are awesome to look at, but I am far more impressed with 10 to 20 shot groups to truly tell what the gun and ammo can do. This is at 300 yards.

Well ! That is so good ! Can’t imagine anyone topping that group with 22 lr at 300

My 22....250 will shot groups like that every once in a while. Never ever seen a 22 LR shoot a group like that.

euro optics did a build of 56 in 2015 i think .I bought mine off there site as it was one of six owner kept for himself then he sold 2 of them 2 years ago on there site . paid 3500 and it was new .Wade studaville built all of them.

Sad thing is I am out of that lot of ammo. Hopefully I will find one that shoots as good
