Stevens 200 223 mag follower

Hey guys a friend of mine asked me to help find parts for his stevens 200 in 223. I have not seen the gun and his explination isnt great but. From what I put together the spring that pushes or lifts the follower on the internal box broke. I know they are the same as a savage. But I do not see any follower for a 223 class of casing only short, long, and magnum follower assemblies. Just wondering if I am right in what i am thinking and if so I have a short action follower here I can give him. If there is a 223 follower can you point me in its direction. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Adam

Savage .223 mags had a blocker plate and used a shorter follower and spring. Stagger feed parts are long out of production and hard to come by. Center feed parts are still available new and the DBM/hinged floor plate/blind mag parts are the same.

Call savage, I purchased a new mag spring for mine a couple of years ago, make sure you have the serial number before you call.

I ran into a similar problem when trying to source parts for a Stevens .223 stagger feed. I looked high and low. The ONLY place I could find that had the parts was Savage Shooters Supply. Lisa responded my WTB on Savage Shooters and had the part in stock. I asked if delivery could occur same week and she said yes. It did arrive when she quoted.
