glue in single shot follower

Sorry if this is a dumb question but.. does an epoxied-in single shot follower stiffen the repeater action(m700) any? I have a 6br that feeds "ok" from an AI mag and am looking to swap out stocks and have thought about going to either rem bottom metal with a single shot follower or going with an epoxied in SS bottom. I only use this rifle for local BR and might take it out west this spring/summer for PD, so a mag fed gun is not critical. I hate to epoxy a follower in, just in case I go to a different caliber later on that feeds from an AI mag better. If I can actually get some benefits from the epoxied follower it might be worth it as opposed to a SS mag follower. I suppose the bedding footprint would be bigger since the stock can be bedded under the glue in follower. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Just put the follower in as epoxy will stretch under load.If you glue it in and decide to go for a hunt then you have to remove the epoxy using very light heat like a pencil torch and just heating the epoxy alittle to soften it. By the way,if you burn the epoxy it gives off dangerous gases.Be careful,but I wouldnt do it for a hunting rifle,use a sled.
