starting load for h 4350

just bought a pound of H4350 to try for my 6BR. where would you start (grains of powder) with this stuff. barrel is a krieger 5R, .236 bore, 8" twist, .115 FB, 27 1/4 inches. shooting 107 sierras.
Thanks

h4350 is not listed as a powder used. i guess i could just use the starting load for varget and use h4350. i will probably start somewhere in the neighborhood of 28.5 grains with the sierras touching the lands.

30 grains of Varget is usually quoted as a standard load for 6BR.

H4350's slower than Varget so it may not be the best (RL15, N140 or 150, N540, H4895 are popular alternates, also for mid-weight bullets in .308 WIN) with the smaller case volume.

a lot of shooters said that re-17 would not work in the 6BR with the heavy bullets, turns out that it works pretty good. hodgdon manual does not list h4350 in the 6BR section.
