Started back shooting Rim Fire

22's. Kid stuff. ??? Yeah, they feed my inner kid. I think many of us (myself included) are adult kids. As a pup, I learned to shoot with a 22. Then I got older and had no use for the lowly 22. Now as an adult kid, I shoot a lot of 22. I run a Bullseye match and recently started a 22 only class that runs alongside traditional 22, CF, 45. I also run a 22LR long range silhouette match. 22's out to 200 meters. Sure, other people have shot their 22's farther, but it's still a challenge at 200 m, particularly if the wind blows.

22's are buckets o' fun. Lots of good reasons, not the least of which are cost and no need for handloading. Although I enjoy handloading, mostly, it can be a chore. 22 rifles don't really wear out either. You might say I've gone down that rabbit hole. I'd counter and say I was sucked down the rabbit hole!

Feed that adult kid residing inside of you! It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
I have no idea how far 200m is but I have that adult kid in me too and it’s a lot of fun being a kid again.

Ya can just try UBR here in the south, they shoot 100m/200m matches;)
No thanks but thanks for the kind offer I was born and raised in America I use feet and yards, use moa scopes, and speak English. I’m not interested in learning other countries ways but if I ever leave here then I’ll learn there language and numerical system

I’ve started back shooting RF’s and man it made me realize how much work there is to shooting CF not counting the money saved.
I am in the same boat but with long distance rimfire.... It will make you pull your hair out... Most of the people who jumped on the rimfire wagon with me have pretty much given up and went back to whatever they were doing before.... Trying to find an ammo that works good and more than likely it won't be cheap stuff which can't be bought at Walmart or academy.... Most people don't like that... I am having a great time shooting 3 inch plates at 300 yards... It makes for a great day... May not hit it everytime but it's great when you do..

Yep on a spur of the moment I can grab two boxes of under $7 box Eley and enjoy the afternoon out to 200 shooting steel

There with you! Shooting 200 yards at a 2" gong with my 17HMR is a hoot. Miss a lot but the hits make you feel great!

Quality targets makes some great little swingers and spinners and because they're .22lr only they just use normal steel so they aren't expensive.... I bought the 1.75 top and 2.25 bottom spinner for 200 yards and their 2-3-4 inch swingers for 300 yards and I really like them.... I also got them to make me a 1/2 top and 3/4 bottom spinner for 50 yards.... I have gotten addicted to shooting at them because they are reactive like skeet but unlike skeet it's not expensive...

Try the ELEY force ammo you can get it from killo shooting sports cheap... It's a heavy .22 that's real fast... Not a match grade ammo and the price reflects that but it hits really hard and great on long distance steel...
