Standard wilson seating die question

Fast14riot

I have an old, standard top Wilson seating die for my .222 Rem. I'd like to add a micrometer top to it, but I'm unsure if it will fit as all my other Wilson dies are new model Stainless Steel with mic top already and this one is chromoly steel. Will the Sinclair mic tops fit these dies?

Unrelated, but I'm also going to blue this die as humidity gets a little higher than I like in my reloading room during the winter months with 100% humidity every day out side this time of year. Anyone see any problems with bluing it?

What Joe said is right and unless you do you own hot bluing, I just don't see how you'd come out ahead vs having a new ss seater, made. Just my 2 cents.

I put a micro meter top on my Wilson die. I think it's a Wilson. Sinclares just cost more.
Not as easy to use but still better than not having it or buying a new die.
Gotta fiddle with it to get it set.
I super glued the stem. It would come lose. It's held in place like two nuts tightened together, by a set screw on top. Set screw doesn't have to be flush with top, btw
