Here's another AR trick to consider, this will change your SD in a big way also. Ok do you have an adjustable gas block? If you don't you should. Try shutting it completely off and shot a string, check your SD, then open it back up shooting across your chronograph untill your carrier locks back on its own. review your chrono results, I bet you see another improvement in SD.
