Stability factor help please

I tried to shoot the kindler gold 30's out of my fireball again with no luck. I decide to check the stability using bergers calculator and I come up with 1.43 . Its suppose to be a 8.5 twist but I come up with 8.7. Is this why I cant get them to group under 1 inch?? I found one charge of 8208 that put them in about .6 thats the best Ive got out of I dont know how many combinations.

If the stability factor is 1.47, then it is fine - your rifle may not like the golds. It happens that way sometimes.

Im getting close!! I got 3 consistent 5 shot groups in .4s. Im going to vary charges by .1 and then try varying seating depth. I loaded up a bunch going from touching the lands to -.100 by 5 thou increments and I hit a sweet spot around .040 off.

combinations ? meaning several different powders? your twist rate is fine. run the ladder test to find your velocity nodes.
