Staball 6.5 vs H380

Hello I am wondering who all has tried staball 6.5 in their 22.250 and how did it perform. Right now I have a H380 load development ready to try out but have heard it is pretty sensitive to temp. Right now H380 will be alright but in summer months it can get pretty hot here.

A fella over on Trapshooters.com has used 6.5 Staball in the 22-250. He says he has a dandy load with 52 or 55 grain bullets. I don't know the specifics of the load though. If I can source some, I might use some of my primers to develop something.

I am in Canada and I usually use varget but starting to have issues finding it now. Found some H380 and was reading about staball how it’s not temp sensitive. I can find it pretty easy out my way. Maybe I’ll buy some and see how it performs.

I was amazed at the velocity for the 22-250 using Staball 6.5 that Hodgdon shows.

Yeah was looking at that 4000 for a 50 grain pill.
