you DO NOT want that in your chamber and barrel, not sure how it would work on sizing...sorry i didnt answer opHas anyone tried using CRC Food Grade spray silicone for sizing brass? If so, how did it work? Thanks.
+ 1^^^^^^Hornady one-shot!!!
+2+ 1^^^^^^
Ditto...I've had more stuck cases with 1-Shot than any other lube. Will admit that it was all from the same can as I haven't ever bought another can of it. Maybe it was just that 1 can.
Chance of silicone in my chamber or bore, no way!
no, i have not tried that specific product. over the last 50 + years of reloading i think i have tried every witches brew i have ever heard of (too many to even count). what i have found for myself is i always end up back with imperial sizing wax or petroleum jelly. size, hardness and cleanliness of the brass is a factor as well as cleanliness and finish of the dies. i generally find it is the latter if some one is having problems with sizing
For years I’ve been using RCBS lube and the pad. It has proven to leave residue on the brass. I may have to try the wax. Thanks for the input.
I am in no hurry on my rifle brass so +1 on the imperial was.. one tin last a looong time...
Lol , I put to much I know and keep a towel on my leg to wipe off my fingers and barely have put a dent in a tin... But never a stuck case..Yeah I know I'm probably over 2000 rounds on the current tin and still have quite decent amount left. Just a little bit goes a long way for sure.
