I am a newbie and have not stuck a case yet.....yet. I neck down LC 308 and found Imperial every 4-5 cases with a dab of Lanolin worked for me. I could feel the difference in the press handle. Just sayin
For normal use including most case forming I use Imperial.
For the worst case forming I use Mystik JT6 water resistant chassis lube that comes in a 14 oz green tube for $4.50. This is a colorless translucent grease that looks like a hair gel.
It really costs me nothing for reloading since it was purchased for lubing my 4WD front end.
While it is a much better case forming lube than Imperial it is kind of messy so it is used for one time case forming operations.
Lol, i have 2 Hornady dies in the junk/misc drawer now with ripped off rims ,used one shot
Granted its range brass that I would not put through Wilson or custom dies.
This stuff works like imp was and is good for your handsView attachment 1034024
My new favorite is Burt's bees cuticle cream...My fingers are dry and cracked so I was putting some on before resizing some brass so I gave it a whirl .I tested it side by side with Imperial wax,I felt no difference. Win/win in my book.
