Been experimenting with the Nosler 40 grain Ballistic Tip in my fast twist Tikka sporter. Have a nice load that will group 5 rounds into .65" at 100 yards

As I'm running +4000 fps its shooting fairly flat out to 300 yards with only 4" of drop. I'd imagine the wind will reek havoc on this lightweight speedster, thoughts?

If, you want to Shrink your Group's w/ a .22-250, I learned Years ago NOT to, Over Size the case,..
Or, Set the shoulder Back, much.
Get a set of Forster Sizing Die and Minimally Size, the .22-250's Case "Body" and set, the Shoulder Back LESS than,.. .002 ( I Like to, "Feel the Bolt Close" on the Tapered, Case,.. IF, possible )
A tight Fit, on the Tapered Case, makes FOR,. Accuracy,.. THEN Find, the Right Bullet "Tune" & Powder Charge.
The RIGHT Load, in a Tikka, .22-250 should group under 1/2 MOA. Try 52 gr. Varm't, Bergers or, 50 or, 53 Grain, V-Maxes ( the 55 gr. Blitz Kings, Shoot Well, also ) Good Luck !

Thanks for the advice, I have been ordering from BC for years. I only used Midway to demonstrate the prices.
You said "big money hornady's". But the Nosler are MORE than the Hornady at Blue Collar.

i say "big money hornady" because they forgot their roots and now love to beat up on the little guys because of their big money power and greed. I love Hornady bullets, but I can't morally justify running their stuff anymore. After their blatant ripoff of Todd Henderson's unit I found alternatives and have been doing just fine

I just tested natchez myself.

$23 to ship two tiny boxes of bullets from TN to PA. Even at consumer level shipping prices from pirateship that would be $10 at most and would be alot faster than 8-9 days....

time to start getting the word out....
