Remington is very helpful in the 3 in magazine requirement however.......they will send a 9# hammer if requested!!

It's not so much needing a follow up shot, as it is ans issue of the rifle performing as advertised.. I usually only need one shot. But a few times I have had to use two on big elk. Not because I missed on the first shot, but because even when hit directly in the boiler room a big bull will stand there for some time.. Those times I have fired again . Once in a while I do miss and need to re-aquire the target..

That just had to be a misprint. They meant to say 3 total like a 700 has always been im sure. Does it feed when you have 3 in there or is the spring too tight?

Works just fine.. with three. From Remington spec's: Magazine capacity = 3
