If there were more F-TR shooters at FCWC, it's not surprising that there are fewer at BSWN. Not everyone can attend both due to work/financial/family considerations. The rate at which slots filled is testament to a well run and popular match. Maybe they'll go to six relays.

I did work out great for him. That last day of the FCWC team matches, he was exceptional.

He sure turned out to be a heckuva wind coach, for sure. Wish he was still on our side of the fence :/ At least he didn't go completely Dark Side and start shooting sling again... ;p

I was closely following the team scores and his team put up stupid high scores for the comeback win. Extraordinary wind coaching to be sure. Do not know him, but do know most of the shooters. Talented shooters all, but coaching brought out their best it would seem. Watched them practice before heading out for ND. I could tell it was going to be something special. Drew

Sheesh, I was busy this weekend and plumb missed this one. wow, that was fast. I guess if I'm making a trip out west next yr it will be for Raton.

Six relays = 540 shooters. We shot six relays at Raton FCNC and FCWC. No one suffered unduly.

Gonna be a rude surprise to folks who were shooting matches yesterday.

Maybe next year the registration can go 'live' on a weekday after working hours are over? Kind of like when polls close for elections?

I've heard this year's didn't fill up until mid-December last year, something like 4 month window....

Can you tell me how that is going to work once the squads are created?

Matt, I told Michelle last year you guys just put on too good a show in February to pass up. I am not surprised this happened. Could you add more relays? Next year you need to split up sling and f class. I told that to Michelle last year but she was so busy doing everything, she just gave me that look like I did not know what I was asking her to do. I think Berger needs to get some help for you guys so maybe you could even shoot next year! Charge every body 5 or 10 bucks more and get some help for Michelle.

Can you provide a copy of the current wait list? I would imagine that a number of registered shooters may withdraw prior to the 6:00 PM, Sunday 4 February 2018 deadline, in order to receive a refund. If I'm number 87 on the list I could assume that I won't be travelling west to Arizona in February 2018. However, if I'm number 4, I would continue to make arrangements just in case a spot opened up.

I think weekend is the best option since most have those days off. If you schedule during a weekday after working hours, after who's working hours? My work hours can go from noon to midnight or sometimes at 6AM when most working people are on a regular 8-5 schedule! The closest I can get to the average work schedule is having the weekends off....

I agree with Bob, maybe sling and fclass need to be split or ad more relays but that would make the long days even longer...

Another option to thin the herd is to only accept certain classifications or only those who have a classification.
