https://practiscore.com/clubs/desert-sharpshooters-rifle-club/matchesWhere or how do you access the waiting list to add your name?
Thx!
Alex
Thx! I saw that but did not realized that the waiting list was an option.
Thanks! I had not read far enough to see that.
Guess I'm not only late but slow. Still do not see wait list? Help would be appreciated.Thx! I saw that but did not realized that the waiting list was an option.

As far as I know none of us have seen the wait list. The link in the above would take you to where you could get on the list - not provide the list. Hopefully they will post it soon.Guess I'm not only late but slow. Still do not see wait list? Help would be appreciated.
That's what you guys get for running such a great match!!Due to the overwhelming response, match staff (Michelle) is currently sorting through the 1000 plus entries. Once all of the entries are organized, all questions will be answered (i.e. Wait list).
Additionally due to a very large wait list, registration for the wait list has been closed.
I ask everyone to be patient as we have to go through the 1000 plus entries, and contrary to public belief Michelle and I have full time jobs in addition to coordinating this match.
Perhaps you should shoot this match instead and leave the slingers alone. This may be completely off base and may meet with some rotten eggs and tomatoes thrown at this idea, but what if the wind clinic and the midrange match were eliminated and the slinger crowd was accommodated on those days. Of course, add this to the diarrhea of ideas and treat accordingly.

Be nice Monte.Struck a nerve, eh? Funny, now that the shoe is on the other foot..
I'm not sure I understand what the problem and congestion is. I shot this match last year and it was also sold out (albeit not as fast ). I did not notice any congestion or traffick lines (except at hamburger stand) at the 1000 yd line. In fact I thought it was very comfortable. In between relays there was plenty of space to stage gear.Shiraz's observation on the congestion behind the firing line is spot on, as well as his noting the tremendous amount of work required to put on such a great match. The parking situation behind the 1,000 yd . line is already very tight and adding more relays would result in even more difficulty. Asking sling shooters to wait around for the end of the F-Class matches for awards would also not be appreciated, and what about the prize tables? I think we shooters need to realize shooting the Berger SWN's is going to be very popular in the future and we may not get to do it every year.
