Only 2 Americans made the shoot off. All of us should give kudos to Oliver Milanovic as well. 8th Overall and winner of the short range agg and 2nd in600M.

Worlds starts today. 700m three shooters to each target at the same time. 94 degrees F and 15 shots. We are expecting mid 90s heat for the rest of the trip. Winds have been tricky. 3 minute changes shot to shot are not uncommon.

Wind conditions were unusally mundane for that range according to the report synopsis below the match scores. Lots of individual records fell. When I fired in the Palma on that range in 1999, it was anything but mundane. Our team was out of the running after the first yardline on Day One.

Watched the Palma team match live yesterday and today. Wind was mild-moderate on day 1 and benign on day 2. In 1999 I was a line coach and used as much as 23-24 minutes of wind at times. Interesting to say the least.
