Just joined the 6BRX crowd with a new barrel from DennisH at myaccuratebarrel.com. Savage 12 bench rest model now has a new X-caliber barrel. Started breaking in barrel & fireforming brass yesterday. It looks like it may be a keeper.

Definitely post pictures of your rifle and "Targets". My BRX is a tac driver using 107 smk's. It also like 105 JLK's.

Finally got around to taking a picture of the new barrel on the rifle.

It should shoot, mine looks just like yours, plus it's a tac driver.

The more I shoot this rifle the more I'm liking it. Fire formed some more brass today & also started some load testing. First batch of testing showed a good potential at 100 yards. 5 shot group Berger 105gr Hybrid with RL15. Tested 5 different loads & this one was the best. Not sure about the flyer, more testing tomorrow.

Here's a 15 shot group of fire forming rounds, 105gr Amax with 29gr of Varget. I'm going to have to play with this bullet/powder with some real load testing.
