Sort of a milestone -- 55th Anniversary

55 years is something to be proud of. Not many make a quarter of that these days. Personally I have over 60 years. If you count my three marriages.

60 yrs yesterday can’t afford diamonds,so stayed home and watched tv

Be 61 years in June with the "same woman". Surprised she's put up with me this long. Just wish the kids could have done that good.
Different ideas. different generations.
For me? Nothing to it. I take care of her and she takes care of me.
Never like the idea of NOT being with her. She IS part of me.
Maybe out of 20 times, maybe once she hasn't been with me if I go out. No fun for her sitting and watching while they put tires on the car.

Not really shooting related, but I just realized (while I was in the shop, chambering a barrel, mind you), today is our 55th anniversary. I was fortunate to have remembered before I had to be reminded! This year, we will probably celebrate by sitting close to the stove! I count myself a fortunate man. WH

Congratulations! We just had our 49th anniversary. 55 years married is quite the accomplishment considering roughly half of all marriages are over before 5 years have elapsed. You and your wife have been very fortunate. Congratulations again.

63 years here. We met while I was still in the Marines. I was home on leave and it was a blind date. We didn't have a clue how that was going to turn out!
