Sort of a milestone -- 55th Anniversary

Not really shooting related, but I just realized (while I was in the shop, chambering a barrel, mind you), today is our 55th anniversary. I was fortunate to have remembered before I had to be reminded! This year, we will probably celebrate by sitting close to the stove! I count myself a fortunate man. WH

This year will be 50 for my wife and I if we survive till September. There will most likely be no stove or fireplace involved. There will be a trip to the Okeechobee Steak House, or Lewis's (owned by the same family). Seems to be a tradition with us and some of our friends.

55 years is something to be proud of. Not many make a quarter of that these days. Personally I have over 60 years. If you count my three marriages.

Congratulations! Unfortunately this is not the norm these days. I am a ways behind you at 31years married and been together 41 years, but only being 57 years old I feel I'm still doing good and I'm planning on reaching our 55 year anniversary too. I too consider myself very lucky to have the wife I do.

Wife and I celebrated 46yrs Nov 15th, God willing we'll see & celebrate 50! 1 son, wonderful DIL and 3 beautiful granddaughters (9, 5, 2). We're blessed.
