Sometimes I amaze myself

I have had all my reloading stuff packed up for months waiting in the move to my new house. Well this week I started the unpacking of my reloading room. I have plastic tubs everywhere. I get my tables right where I want them. I get my electrical cords and presses mounted where i need them. And I get to the little stuff. I have been unloading those tubs for 4 days now.

I opened one up today and start pulling stuff out. I get to an ammo box in the bottom of this tub and wonder why in the world do I have ammo in this tub. I pick up the ammo box and it seems empty. I open it up and see nothing but wrapped up packing paper.... Then I realize I'm not as stupid as my wife thinks I am. I protected the thing that helps pays for my hobby.

That's why i was amazed... im really not that smart. I must have started to show her this 4 times yesterday trying to explain to her that I can do something right. But then i realized that I have it pretty good with her thinking I cant do anything around the house.... so I just sat back and smiled in that.... only I will know about this.... style.

Yesterday I aired up a new Fishcat float tube I've had for 2 yrs, packed up all that stuff about 2-1/2yrs ago. I know there is a tub with all the rigup gear for float tubes somewhere, a handpump, fins w/keeper straps. At the moment it's invisible. I'll look again tonite

I have found that stuff is either

1) in the first place I looked for it
2) a place I thought was a clever place to store it.

The 2nd is harder to remember, but sometimes when its missing i pretend I have to store it. Then it turns up.

In either situation it's always behind, under, around d, above, or obstructed by something. Never fails.

My wife came home the other day & had me come out to the car because she thought something was wrong with the AC, cold air coming out of driver side, hot air coming out of passenger side, I got in & she fired the car up, sure enough that was how it was working, I looked down at the controls & discovered the granddaughter had turned the temp up on the passenger side!
We both just sat there & laughed!:D:D:D

I always find it in the last place I look, Usually after I order it's replacement.... Some times it may be a few years to find the last place

There is only one test to determine if you have Alzheimer's/dementia coming on. If you loose your car keys and find them in two hours you are good to go. But, if you find them in the fridge you should see your doc.
Last Christmas , while trying to herd the family out to the car , holding an armful of gifts, panicked cause I couldn’t find my car keys. Looked all over . It wasn’t until I opened my mouth to curse, that they fell into my arms. To this day my wife still doesn’t know!
