No kidding! I am not changing that load! Was about out of h322 and just bought 3 more lbs at $60 per delivered. jeez...20c a pop just for the powder charge!

Sako is a good rifle, but those barrels don't shoot(mass production). 1/6
of those shoot decent. Owning couple of sako's.

Btw. My old Tikka m65 shoots decent all the time. One mag. 7+1 at 170 yards.

The Sako 85 is as beautiful as a rifle can be. The Model 100 is ugly because of the switch barrel feature, but that is necessary in many European countries that limit the number of rifles you can own.

I see them come up on the gun auction sites. best to scan those. not talking about gunbroker etc but the real auction houses. there are about 4.-5 of them that have regular auctions. i'd give you the names but I deleted that bookmark by mistake.

Im a big Sako fan but that is close to the ugliest thing I have ever seen. That Safety popup thing would make my blind myself with a spoon

I agree looks like a Tikka slept with a steyr and had an ugly red-headed child with freckles

Over here across the Big Pond, I just seen this morning an L461 HB in .222 is selling (and will sell!) for $2.5 K aud. That’s about new price Sako rifles...and it’s over 50 years old!!!!!
The A series was the end of Sako that are widely considered for their Excellant Quality, Accuracy and handling. The market prices and demand and lack of supply of the Older Sakos prove that, at least over here...
Accountants and designers that obviously do not Hunt or shoot have never heard of the term “ if it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it”
