Sako 85s

Been looking at the new Sako 85 Finnlight and Grey Wolf. Seem like very well made rifles. I like the Finnlight in 7-08 but was wondering if I was giving up a lot of velocity by going down to a 20" tube when it comes to hunting. The 7 rem mag was also intresting since it would give me a bit more versatility in hunting, everything from long range deer, bear, elk, moose and even open ground grizzlies could fall victim to the 7 rem mag. I was just wondering if anyone on this site hunts with the Sako 85 and how well they liked or disliked the rifle.

I have a Sako 85 in .338 federal and I love it. It is one of the best shouldering rifles I own. It shoots just about anything I feed it, with very good accuracy. The action is smooth and the trigger is great. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that it has a very nice walnut stock and I hate to go anywhere that might cause damage to it- totally my fault for getting it this way, but man what pretty wood! The synthetic stock for it is $500.00 so if you plan to hunt it hard, get the synthetic for sure. You will be pleased if your a rifle nut.
