Some Advice Please.

Hi all, how is everyone?

Question,

Would a scope used in 'F Class' i.e. a 8-42X56 or similar scope be ridiculous to use on a Sako Quad . 22LR?

The reason I ask is that I have found the fun sport of Rimfire 'Fly Shooting' out at 200 meters, and I need a new scope. Now I am aware that a 8-42 scope is way over powered for such short distances, but I am looking to move up to 'F Class' in 12 to 18 months and thought that I could get a scope I could use now for the rimfire, then move over to my next purchase for F class.


What are your thoughts?

I see no problem with that at all. Just make sure to insulate you corrated artery from the stock at two hundred or you'll have to shoot between heart beats
