Some 6XC help

It's been awhile, 2016 to be excact. Back in 2016 I put together my rifle, nothing fancy but I was starting to get it together as far as load development. But, life got in the way and it was put on the far back burner. Well, I'm ready to get back after it. The siituation is, there has been a lot of water over the dam. Along with all that water went all my load development notes, can't find that note book anywhere and boy I have looked.

So, I'm back at the beginning and have no recollection of where I was with my powder drops. I was using 4350 powder, Norma brass and my 1:8 twist barrel liked Sierra Match King 107gr. HPBT bullets. I'm thinking my velocity was the high 2900 fps and I had hit a pretty good node, I think, not sure.

I looking for a good powder drop to get started again. Any help in that direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Start at 39gr and work up to 40. All of my XCs shoot dots somewhere in that range with the 105-107 bullet. Velocities are generally around 3000fps or very close to it depending on the barrel.

I have been running 38.5 gr of h4350 out of a 28 inch barrel. Runs right at 2950 fps

Start at 36. Mine loves 38 and 40 so went with the 38. 107’s @ 3050 with 38gn from a 26” barrel
