Need a refresher on my 6xc

Three years ago life got in the way and the 6xc got put in the gun safe. Now that I'm retired the 6xc is going to be dusted off. Here is the problem, my 6xc note book has come up missing, can't find it anywhere and it had all my load development notes in it. So I need some help getting started again, can't recall what my loads where.

I was using Norma brass (still have my dummy round and my dies haven't been touched so I'm good there) The barrel (1:8, 30 inches) liked 107gr. HPBT SMKs and I was using H4350, just can't recall how much. Someplace in the back of my mind 39 something, 40 something grains keeps popping up. MV I think was high 2900's. Dang. wish I could find that note book.....

Any thoughts you would like to share sure would be appreciated to get me back on track. Thanks.

My 6xc 30" 8 twist 105 hybrid norma brass 39.2gr H4350 fed 210m 3030fps same except BR2 is 3060fps. My freebore m3ay be a tad shorter than yours Tried to set 105s as deep as possible but still above the doughnut. Hope this helps a little. I got sticky bolt at 40.5gr.
The Optimum Barrel Time Node for 30" is at 1.368ms. a slow one at 1.532.

Thanks for the info Shawnba67. This afternoon I found some rounds I had loaded during development. I'm going to pull the bullets and weight my powder charges. Doing that along with your info I think will get me back on track.

I texted Mr. Tubb and he says he used 39 gr of n160 with a 115 DTac.

I use Norma brass, CCI BR-2 primers, DTAC 115 RBT coated bullets, 28inch Krieger barrel in 1:7.5 twist, 40.0g H4350 for 2950 fps at 75 deg. F at 900 ft. altitude.

My Kreigers 8t bbl liked 38.2 - 38.8gr H4350 with 107smk seated +.007 in

Start 38.0 and should be 2850fps.
Work ur way up, most stop in around 39.0 thru 39.5.
I've gone as high as 40.5gr H4350 but Sd's are no good.

My particular bbl ran awesome at 2920fps in 2016 winning 4 out of 5 matches I shot

The last few I have done have liked 39.5-40.5 of H4350 and shot really well, giving me right around 3000 fps in most barrels with the 105-107 class bullets. I have actually been having much better results with R-16. My personal 6XC load is 40.5gr of R-16 under a 110 Sierra in Norma brass and giving me 3070fps out of a 26" proof barrel. I've got 3 firings on my brass so far and pockets are still as tight as when they were new.
