I bought a new RW upper in .20 P a few years back and put it on about the cheapest lower I could find with a Geissele trigger. Been using IMI and Remington once fired brass, VV133, BR4s, BKs, Vmax & BIBs. Great upper, extremely accurate AR. With regards to the OP, $1400, if it had a decent lower and trigger, it was a fair price. Can one be built cheaper? Sure but not everyone has those skills. For an off the shelf upper, RW makes good stuff.
