Step 1: 1-14/16 - = 30 /16ths.
Step 2: Add 13/16ths to get 43 / 16.
Step 3: 43/16 = 2-11/16ths.
Nah - just add 2/16 to the 7/8 to make another inch and do the logical subtraction & addition....

That's so funny because my son and I went to the dive thru at Arbys yesterday. The total was $18.25. I dont like change or $1 bills.
I told my son "you wanna see a fast food worker have a short circuit in their brain?...watch this." When we got to the window, I handed the lady $23.25 in cash. As predicted, she counted it and said "sir you gave me too much money!"
I said "I know, just punch the amount in on your cash register and give me the change."
She was shaking her head like I was an idiot as she punched it in...Then suddenly her eyes lit up when she saw the change due and said "I knew it! I just knew that's what you were doing. I just had to mention you gave me too much just in case".
I said, "uh huh..thanks" As we pulled away, I turned to my son and said "She didnt have a clue what I was doing and that's why she works at Arby's"
I tried staying out of this...but my inner troll is coming out. I can’t control it!
You guys all raised the snow flake generation. Lol
I’m 31 so I guess I’m a snow flake, but I’ve accomplished a lot since I was 18. My parents raised me right.
Not at all.
"snowflake" is a mindset, a way of thinking and acting. Not a date of birth.
Snowflaked-ness is a choice. We all must choose wisely.
Ohhhh...so some of you old farts can be snowflakes too, eh??![]()
None of em can count change back to you either. They need a puter to tell em.
Actually, its 43 /16 ths...

Through the valve stem just like when I recharge an AC system I have a vacuum pump I was just speaking theoretically if you were trying to get closer to 100% nitrogenHow do you propose to pull a vacuum on a rubber tire installed on a steel rim without pulling the tire off the rim? The only way possible to accomplish this task is to have the tire installed and inflated inside an enclosed 100% nitrogen atmosphere.
As the great philosopher Rodney King said "Can`t we just all get along" .That's excellent. Peace be to you. (ancient Yiddish blessing)![]()
HP, Just call me Joe. That`s what I did and it lasted 40 years. But I go by Jeff these days. Good one to you sir.
