It is unfortunate and I can sympathize with them to a certain point. I did like to visit there from time to time but now I think I'll just move on and delete them from my favorites.

That plus all the Mall Ninja TactiCool guys who are all trying to see how much crap they can bolt onto their Picatinney rails, and I got full up with that place PDQ. Buncha sniper wannabees.

You do need thick skin to operate over there. They loved my bolt story here I was called a child. Run what you have. Just ask Erik "salvage" Cortina he will be the first to say you need something better. There can be some good learning with that savage shoot it then get something better if you need it.

That place has some very good info, and plenty of entertainment to boot.

Thick skin is mandatory, but you already know that going into it, no surprises there.

I also had trouble getting back in over there, I`ll just give it time and hopefully they will sort it out...

I just came over from Snipershide. It's really disappointing how bad it now is, but I truly hope they get their act together. It was a nice shooting resource to have and the classifieds were nice. Been using 6mmbr and Accurateshooter for years, just never joined till now.

Same here. Tried my darndest to unsubscribe from the mailings so I could get away from the spam but no joy. I then tried to unsubscribe from the whole site to get away from the spam but no joy. I did find where I could change my email address so I made a spam dump email address and changed my preferences to that address so I wouldn't get any more of their spam in my main email address. Now I'm getting the same spam in both email addresses my main address and the new spam dump address. At this point I hate the day I ever signed up for that site.

Same here. I unsubscribed from all emails since I was getting all kinds of nonsense emails that aren't related to any of my interests.

Snipershide is just not worth the hassle anymore. The new format is terrible, the scout spam is annoying and Frank's attitude is even more abrasive than it used to be. Most of the members that had anything of value to add have already jumped ship, so the content has gone downhill big time. I mainly browsed the F-Class section, which had a decent amount of traffic. There hasn't been a post there in over a week and it's been quite a while since I read a thread that was of any value.

......and that is the reason I haven't posted there since the last change in Feb 13. I had been there since 5/04. I couldn't get logged in and sent Frank an email asking for help. He never did respond. Happen to have an email from another member who helped me get on. I think in the 4-5 days I couldn't log at all something was set different as I did get on after that. Got tired of that arrogant puke and the way he talked to members. Nobody else was to make personal attacks but it was OK and even cool to some(as they enjoyed his postings of someone's rant) but it was acceptable as far as Frank was concerned to say whatever he wanted. When you hear "stupid f*cker", "how F'n stupid are you", it really makes you want to help his sight by posting to help others. He always has taken credit for the information that was posted, in fact he expected it and all the traffic that the good information brought was 'Frank's doings', not the members. As far as reloading and smithing issues or trouble shooting he couldn't poor p*ss out of a boot of the directions were on the heal!

I never did sign or register with the new cluster f*** so haven't been getting emails, that or my IP blocks and junk settings prevent them. I miss the old SH from mid 2000ish but haven't enjoyed much of the clientel and what they brought pretty much since the 08 election when things really grew. A lot of arrogance and more ignorance. Everyone wanting their hand held and load data etc so they wouldn't have to do it themselves. In other words more hand holding with less experience and higher expectations entitlement or whatever! After about 50K of members things started south and downhill IMO. Was a lot of smart shooters with great wisdom and info prior!

I've been at Snipershide since May of 2001. That is 2 months after Frank registered. I knew him beforehand and joined at his invitation. I'll be up front and say I consider Frank to be a friend... I'll not second guess anyone else's interactions with him as I am not up to speed on that. You are your best barometer of which way to go...

I'll also be up front and say Snipershide.com has been a nightmare for me to log in since the switch. This with Frank working diligently trying to get my account fixed. He has literally responded to 15 e-mails from me and I believe done his best to help. That said the Scout deal does not work for me... Many of the guys that I frequented the site for, aside from Frank, seem to have moved on. That said there are still deals you won't get anywhere else...

I truly hope they get it in one sock over there. There have been many discussions on that site that provided enough information and perspective to have been archived. Many of those folks are no longer there to participate...

All in all I wish Frank the best and plan to try to get my dicked up account/access fixed, however, it is getting to the point that I'm losing interest(for the moment) and I feel like I'm a PITA to Frank. I'll give it a few months a try again. Transitioning over to a new computer this month maybe that will help. Hard to think much could hurt...

Well... lets see.

They couldn't find my original registration and pass word (from back when they started), and when I tried to re-register, they said my screen name was taken, and when I tried to get them to send me my screen name in the "Forgot my ****" link, they couldn't find my email address...

But, LOW AND BEHOLD... God worked a miracle and they found my email address just in time, and sent me a discounted membership offer!!!

Same thing happened with my account. Every time I would try to sign in it would tell me my name was taken. I am not a computer geek and the instructions I got left me scratching my head. They finally told me to put SH in front of my name and reregister. I did and got on but now I am just like a new guy. Lost all my post and my rating and buys that I had over the past 10yrs. Hell I probably don't have enough posts to even sell something on there now.....
