Smart gun

Dear valued customer, your digital currency has expired, at this time your government issued currency card cannot be used to replace your faulty firearm. Your current unelected leaders(WEF citizen safety board)has declared you forfeited. Your electrical supply is in jeopardy if you do not comply.

So glad that I have a bunch of "Stupid Guns" . I can even work on all of them myself , and don't need Commissar Bi-DUMBS consent . Or his ATF - Gestapo , either !

Now as many of us here now do repairs of many types on our firearms, I'm now going to go get an electrical degree to work on my gun...... What could possibly go wrong?
"Dear customer,
I have completed the requested repairs on your firearm to the best of my ability, however, regretably, I can not guarantee or put a warranty on my work, as it is not my firearm, and I can not test fire it.

Sincerely,

Your Gunsmith"

My gray haired memory may be faulty but aren't there a few states or maybe the feds that have legislated that once there is a viable smart gun all future manufactured guns will have to incorporate that technology?

I have seen some billboards around DFW advertising smart guns, I can't recall if they're for this brand or another. But I do know they're for smart guns.

Just like anything with smart in the name and electric vehicles, it's all about control.

A highly stupid idea and it sure as h--- is not going to stop criminals, like the woke/politicians believe.
I really don't think many lawful folks will purchase any.

1- my dumb guns are starting to be smarter than me.

2-My neighbors "smart" car only lets him get as far as it or it's makers will let him go and if there isn't a charging station where he's going, he's not going there anyway.

3- I have driven past my "smart" neighbor twice now standing along side of his "smart" car with his phone in his hand looking perplexed and given him a ride home in my gas guzzling 3/4 ton pickup. He didn't say a word about all the gas fumes my truck was putting out!

Hm. What happens when the batteries die? What happens, while repelling boarders, when daddy's down and survival's now up to another family member?

This ain't a VCR. It's quite literally a matter life and death. All well and good to think of the lives impacted by not being fired upon by a lunatic, if said lunatic were to get hold of one of these during his/her crime. But of course proponents of this idea won't think much (or at all) about those who get their butts in a crack because of product failure when direst need is upon them. (Of course, those problems don't amount to much, when there's venture capital to be had.)

Well, I can see the benefits of one if:

You have children. They can't use it.

If it's stolen they can't use it.

But, if your intent is to shoot people or do bad things you will be able to use it.

Bad guys will not buy one because:

1. Too expensive

2. Back ground checks.

3. Could be traced back to them.

I think it is just a feel good in political places.
