Smallest 5 shot 1000 yard group yet

This may be the smallest? This was shot by one of our friends with his 11lb dasher. He will be shooting with us this season at Deep Creek. 1.160" outside to outside .917" ctc.

i d say you got her " tuned up".
when the conditions are calm and all the stars line up ive seen the dashers shoot very well ( like this one)
its when the conditions change and winds pick up where they will fall apart vs a bigger bullet like the 284 and 30 cals. but this is VERY IMPRESSIVE TO SAY THE LEAST.
whats the load, and gun specs??

Alex, I don't think it was the smallest group ever shot. James Isaacson shot a sub .700 5 shot group at HJ.in practice, maybe someone from there would chime in with the exact size. It was done with a 6.5x47……. jim

I think you may have the IBS. boys worried already. I've Had some pretty nice practice groups myself, It would have been more impressive if it were in the 10 ring.Or the X. The wind couldn't have been blowing out there! Was IT?

He wasn't worried about 10 ring. Just group. Shot the gun at 200 yd to get it on paper then shot 1000 yd sighter on steel then group on paper.

Ya Jim, who knows for sure what the smallest really is? I bet there has not been more than a few under 1" When you think of it, its statistically impossible. I just hope that barrel has another in it like that in a match.

Hey Z Don't count your chickens before they're hatched! Its 1000 yards not 100! Had a Guy say that about score to me, when they took the 20 points away toward the hall of fame point. But he got out voted. If I'm not in the middle, I did something wrong. I'll be watching Z to make sure you got nice tight groups come March. Even with 5 Shoots.
