Nice! Cootie!Come on Bart,,,show more of your Good stuff, you sly devil you....my 5-5 shot groups at St Louis a while back... got another point at the Nationals. If I hadn't been shooting that mangy .262ND I wouldn't have had that big azz .202 group.....

Shot this recently doing a small seating depth re-test. Rifle opened up to about a half-minute gun (5 shot groups), so I seated .010 out and shot the above test group.
Rifle:
FN SPR, rebarreled in 6.5x47L by Matt Stewart of Stewart Rifles. 26" Krieger, 1:8, M24. Scope has either been a Burris XTR III or Pro 5.5-30x56.
Load: 123gr Scenar over 35.5gr Varget. CCI-BR4, Lapua brass, 2.170 CBTO. Velocity is 2815 which is great considering how low a charge it is.
(Below) Back when I originally confirmed it at .010 shorter. Velocity says 2785...but when I trued it at 655, it was 30 FPS faster. It's an old Pro Chronograph.

Like most BR Shooters, over the years, I have shot a lot of really small groups.
But my best effort was five 5-shot groups that measured, by the NBRSA Records Committee, an average of .148.
At the time, it just missed the record. But it might possibly be the smallest 5-Group aggregate shot by a Rifle that was not chambered in 6PPC…….And measured by the Records Comittee.

Here is a classic. The aggregate came back smaller from the records committee than the range measurement. Set in 2003 with a .262 neck and Ultra 68 flat base bullets a .1518 at 300 yards. It’s stood for over 20 years now.
