Small rifle primers for hunting.

Just curious if there are any drawbacks to using small rifle primers on a hunting rig? What if you hunting in really cold weather...

I've never had any problem. CCI 400's is what I've used the most of over the years. Done a lot of below zero coyote hunting (and killing) and have NEVER had a dud, squib, hangfire, fizzout, or anything of the sort. jd

Thats good to hear. I really wasn't worried about a dud or squib, but I have read guys saying there could be ES issues. I didn't think there was likely much truth to it but thought I would see what people had to say.
