Small camera

What is a cheap camera to hook to a small TV to be able to see my balance beam better? I have been using my magnifier on my phone. I made a little mount for it. I now acquired a small tv

I just bought a cheap webcam off of Amazon but I had to hook it to a computer and then I used a TV as the computer monitor. It’s definitely the way to go for seeing better and it saved me from bending over to remove parallax.

Just about cheapo tablet has a camera on it, some are less than $100. I use a Lenovo Tablet, 9" screen I think, in a desk top letter holder with a 20 rd box of 223 ammo as a counter weight. My tablet has the camera lens in the middle of a long side, so it stands up and is at the right height for beam scale set up.

Or Amazon.

We have old tablets we've kept for things like this. I also kept an old phone for dedicated jobs, like an OBDII reader for the car/truck. Made a nice supplemental instrument panel.

Great ideas. I've been trying this myself with my phone, makes life a lot easier, especially when the balance is not at eye level.

Lap tops and tablets are too big imo. You can do it with a mobile. Just down load a magnifying glass app. Once it's set up, the mobile will stay on indefinitely. I made a small wood and wire mount. I'll post. Pic

The Dandy trickler company used to have a little setup with an adjustable prism that magnified the scale register and was adjustable to any viewing angle. Not sure if they still sell them.

Is there any certain reason doing it this way for your hunting loads when you have that FX-120i setting there?
Yes.

My hunting loads are "minute of deer". My target loads are for 1/4 or less MOA. The cases for hunting loads or all types, I have a lot, are factory sized. The target cases have uniformed weights, capacities, turned necks and precise measurements for bullet tension.

Near all of my hunting rifles are sub MOA. Actually even my multiple lever actions are also as I either tune them or toss them. It is oh so much faster to have my Lyman powder dispenser ( not shown next to the Hornady one) just dump a lower charge and I immediately trickle up close enough with the dropper for that Lyman scale. That is way faster than dealing with the TX120 and has no discernible penalty in performance. Both the 9 pt and 7 pt I killed this year were precise shots out to 270 yards with a 338 win mag and a 7mm Rem mag. Couple does fell with muzzleloader and that stuff is just scooped in.

Based on that picture my take is I was loading for a mid-60's 6mm Rem in a Rem 600 teeny thing I have had for maybe 60 years. It shoots well but I did not get a shot with it this past season. I rotate guns for each deer and use enough to not have to use it again for a few years or more.
