Slow/heavy vs fast/light, same drift, any difference in verticals @ bumpy ranges

This is something which was asked on another forum and could not get a common consensus on.
Say you had 2 cartridges with identical wind drift at either 600 or 1000yds, such as say a 284, shooting 180VLDs VS a 308 shooting 230gn Hybrids. If you shot on a range with high mounds and gullies, and a steep slope on the far left between 300yds and the targets, (the range is known for giving worse vertical then other flat, open ranges) would there be any difference in range effected verticals between the heavy/slow bullet and light fast bullet even with the same wind drifts?
The 223 shooters say their mouse guns get pushed up and down much more than the 185-215gn 308s at this hilly range but not another flat range 30 miles away, but then the 223 ballistics are lower anyway. How about between something more ballisticly matched like the ones I mentioned? (not counting vertical caused by poor hold, tuning, muzzle jump, etc etc)
