Sizing Brass For a 20 Practical AR

I'm using a RCBS Rock Chucker to load rifle loads. I was told that for this gun, I should resize every time I reload the cases, that's understood, and also that to adjust my sizing die, to raise the ram, lower the die until it touches, lower the ram and turn the die another quater turn to insure that I get the right bump on the shoulder.
Is that how you guys are doing it? I'm just starting to load for this gun and I'm starting off with new Winchester brass.. I tried just neck sizing only a new piece of brass and it chambered with very little resistance. I'm sure it will "grow" when I fire it.

I use a bump/shoulder gauge and a fired case. The compare the fired case to a freshly sized case and make sure it is .003-.005 shorter for my AR15.
