Sizing 6mm BR Lapua Brass to fit 6mm BR Rem Chamber

Sorry about some of the pictures are upside down...couldn't figure out how rotate them! The bolt face, back of lugs, and bolt race in the action look new, so I don't think it has been rebarreled.

Let me know what you think about this, and if you have seen stampings like this before. Thanks!

Sounds like great advice! Do you know where I can find Remington brass?
Occasionaly it comes up for sale on here and on gunbroker. As far as I know, Remington no longer makes it. As others have posted, easiest route is to have it rechambered to a no turn 6BR Norma.

I have had a few people PM me asking if I was interested in selling it...not sure at the moment, but maybe?

.seems pretty unique!!!
Dean, I strongly suggest you check the twist rate on that barrel and do a chamber casting. I purchased a rifle last year that was identical to yours but was chambered in 22/250 and stamped 8 twist on the barrel from Remington. Stamping style identical to yours. The twist rate turned out to be 13 1/2" and Remington could not explain how this had happened. dedogs

Don't you dare mutilate that rifle!. If you must, have a aftermarket barrel chambered the way you want it and put the original away for later when you decide to sell it. I would verify the twist and chamber.
