Single Shot 284 Winchster

Can a Savage Target action or Remington clone single shot SA be used for a F Open Class build, or would a long action be required.

Short action will work

My long range benchrest /F Class guns both use Savage PTA in short size. One is a 6BRX and the other is a 284 WIN. No problems.

Short action works for me.

You can use either one although the short actions are the most common.
