stiller single shot conversion??

ive got a stiller predator (rem clone) repeater that im putting into a single shot f class stock.

obviously i have to put some sort of sled into the mag port but i would like to be able to put it back in the original stock and run it as a repeter if required so i dont want to glue the sled to the action.

does anyone have any suggestions or photos of how to keep solvent out of the bedding but still make the action/sled removable??

Even if you epoxy it in, it is ultimately removable with a hot air gun

Glue it in and when youi want to remove it simply hit a punch with a small hammer on one corner and it will pop right out.
My gunsmith did one for me last saturday and it popped right out.

i would like to be able to swap back and forth between repeater and single shot quickly. thought some people might attach the sled to the stock insted of gluing it to the action for instance??

Could you get away with just using a V-block in your F-class stock?

I have made several out of 1" schedule 80 pipe....cut and countour it to match your magazine cutout in the action....put a gob ov duct seal undr it and squeez it in place when you install the action in the stock....when you remove the action it usually stays stuk there in the stock....quik--ez--cheep....readily available...can be SS or chrome moly depending on the pipe alloy...I worked construction all my life...we never asked where can we buy it ....we always said ..."how can we make it!!"....Roger

ah a man of my own heart!! haha im a metal fabricator with ASME IX welding tickets and work on construction projects ;D

i think ill devcon under the action and epoxy the tube to the devcon surface.
