Single Round Feed AICS Magazine

Just built a 6.5 Creedmoor from an older Remington 700 SA. I have it in an MDT ACC chassis running AICS steel magazines. It runs and chambers great but what is the trick to single feeding? If I leave the magazine in and try to place a round on top it does not line up.

When single feeding on top of an AICS mag I slip the round in on top of the mag and then push/guide it most of the way into the chamber with the tip of my thumb and or my index finger then close the bolt. Easy peasy

You may need a "sled" in the magazine to enable single round feeding. I obtained one locally - 3D printed for my Tikka 223. Or this elegant solution from Australia, which I intend to use on a future build.
