Sinclair meplat trimmer

Has anyone used one of these meplat trimmers? I just got one and it seems to be useless, bullet is almost impossible to hold straight!
Am I doing something wrong?

Look at the one John Hoover sells; then compare the quality of the two....your choice should be a no-brainer.

I did look at the Hoover, wish I had of purchased it! I'm going to turn a piece on the lathe, drI'll a hole in it and try and attach it to the Sinclair to make it work.
Should have bought once and cried once!

That was the only thing I have ever bought from Sinclair that I didn't like. Kinda cheesy. Where do I get the John Hoover model? Thanks, Snuggie.

Borrowed a Sinclair, drove me crazy trying to make it work. It won't. Bought the Hoover system ( not cheap ) but it works. And it works very well.
