2) The use of any form of a table is prohibited. Separate flat boards or plates not exceeding the dimensions of the individual rests by two inches are allowed to be placed under the front and/or rear rests. In the case of a bipod, the board or plate may not exceed the width of the bipod by 2", nor be more than 12" front to rear. See Rule 3.4.1(a)(1).
This leads me to believe there should be two separate boards, instead of one big board. Is that how this is interpreted?

I shoot F-TR at Bisley in the UK and have a Sinclair BP on an AI stock. The original AI sling mount has been replaced with a hardened steel mount in the underside handrail; I broke the original AI cheepo bit in the European's 2010. I think the Sinclair BP is great. A few months back I was talking to an engineer shooter guy who had modified his Sinclair for 'micro' vertical adjustments, he was going to send me the drawings but alas nothing came. I had a play with it and I liked what I saw.
I will try to describe it. He had removed the sharks bolt thingy's and made up a small threaded aluminium block and attached it by bolts to the vertical inside part of the main frame; there was a hole drilled down though the BP chassis to another small threaded block attached to the outer legs; at the bottom of the screw was a large plastic knob to turn them up/down. It was as simple as that, apparently it only added a few ounces to the weight. His next mod was going use 90deg gears from model engineering stuff, create a central vertical support and send the adjusting rods and knobs to the centre of the BP.
His mods looked very well made, no big chunky stuff just good quality materials.

The new Sinclair F class bipods have adjustable head for cant and elevation.

Yes, in 2011 they were cutting edge, today not so much

Ahhh...the pleasure of helping to resurrecting an 8 year old thread . FWIW - the notion of putting wheels on the feet of an F-TR bipod is not new. IIRC, in past discussions the consensus has been that it would be illegal under the Rule 3.4.1 (b), which states:
"The rifle may be supported by a bipod and/or sling and a rear support which provide no positive mechanical method for returning it to its precise point of aim for the prior shot."
Although I don't recall ever hearing whether someone has actually tried it in a match and been disqualified, wheels could definitely be interpreted as a mechanical method for returning the rifle to its precise point of aim for the prior shot.

I did. I used a steel plate under each wheel and accidently had a magnet in each wheel. It worked , but, I got off on another tangent.
Never used an Atlas but I do read a lot of positive things about them. Have used Harris bipods, so how are the Atlas better? And are they more stable then the Sinclair F class?
I'm still saving to buy one of these. If anyone has one that they're willing to get rid of for, let's say $75.00 shipped, I'll take it.
