Mine is subject to normal McMillan lead times as it’s having a full inlet done by them, If you contact Alex wheeler I’m sure he could give you a more accurate answer than me..What is the lead time on them? Would you happen to know.

Bix, never regret the choice!Bix & Andy, from Roger Gower..''dedeadye'' here.
Hey Bart,Looks like this has been gone over a good bit. I shoot 28 inch HV contour and you can’t go wrong with a Wheeler stock.

A question on the Bix and Andy trigger...... Is the one you want the model with the adjustable sear engagement and no safety? If I get some answers, I will place the order some time at the end of the week. Thanks to all for looking this thread over.
Hey Bart,
I have looked your rig over in the write up that broke the record. Is there any particular reason you went with a Jewel over the bix? Thanks for looking.

Here are my 2 cents Nature Boy.... You guys are full of knowledge for a up and starter. It is a learning process and a lot of guys are here to help out. I greatly appreciate it. When this post was made a sticky I sort of hoped that the journey of making and building this rifle could help others that thought of doing the same thing. There had and has been a wealth of knowledge spread thru these couple pages. I hope it continues. Thanks for contributing .^^listen to this guy^^
I was in the same situation as you awhile back. First 6mm. Bart made my decision on barrel selection very easy.
Noticed that a simple question has gone to 2 pages. Go figure![]()
I figured out quick everyone was running this set up because it took me a while to find a barrel. You can find every configuration except the HV 8 twist. But perseverance paid off. thanks for looking and contributingMy new 6bras are Heavy varmint at 28"!!! I had no idea everyone else was running that same config.

that is usually how it goes.Try finding a 1:12 twist HV in stock.....lol. It seemed like I could find nothing but 1:8 when I was looking for for a premium barrel. With help from the forum I finally tracked down a Bartlein 1:12 HV.
Borden Rimrock BR or BRM and have Jim put it all together for you.Update...... Trigger ordered!! I went with the Jewell BR. Honestly I just couldn't make myself pay 400+ for a trigger. Guess now on to the action or stock. I'm thinking bat B for the action unless someone can enlighten me. I am all for it as for this page I guess. I hope a lot of people are learning like I am.
I have had discussions with some guys that said the exact same thing. Great minds I reckon and such. Thanks for the advice. I’m most def going to give him a call.Borden Rimrock BR or BRM and have Jim put it all together for you.
