Silly question about the 6x47 Lapua

I don't have the case dimensions for this cartridge, but how different is it in the neck/shoulder area from the 6mm BR. Shoulder angle is the same, right? Neck length? Shoulder thickness?

I guess I should have just come right out and asked, Can I use a Redding Competition Seating die for a 6mm BR to load for the 6x47L? To embarrassed to show my ignorance, I guess. I'm thinking I can provided the neck length, should angle, and shoulder diameter are all the same. Unless case taper is too different.....just thought of that.


I already have the 6mm BR die, and if I can use it - well, why buy a new one for the Lapua....
