What should the maximum case length be? I don't believe I've seen this referenced in any of the posts on this cartridge. I guess I'm going to need that, now that my brass has arrived.....

A lot of that has to do with the reamer that was used, hardly any of them are the same... Your best bet is to check the length of yours.
Sinclair has a sintered lead plug (or whatever) that goes into a modified case that will give you the exact measurement..
You just need to shorten the neck on a case to use it.... They work very well...

My chamber was cut 1.850 with a trim of 1.840 but since they are a wildcat, the Sinclair tool is probably the best way to go unless the gunsmith who chambered the rifle has a record. Tom
