Silencer/supressor effects on accuracy?

OK..My thoughts...from a strictly accuracy point of view. Any time you hang ANYTHING on the bbl, the tune will change. Just like a break, I found that if I was going to shoot a gun with and without a break, I needed to find two separate loads. Hanging a weight on the end of a tube changes the harmonics, or vibration cycle. It is totally wild how, when tuning a bbl with a tuner installed, how just 1/24th of a turn...a turn on VERY fine threads mind you, can totally change a group size and shape. And all that happend is that you moved the weight in or out a tiny fraction.

Now, imagin hanging many onces on the end of that tube!!!

Thank god the IBS allowed the use of breaks in the HG class

Thank you for your input guys, I think I like the Idea of a suppressor very much. It works great on reducing the sound and the recoil on my .243 (not that it had a lot of recoil...)
