Forgive me for not specifying that I was talking about the average shooter and not F/TR. I probably should have given F/TR numbers since this thread is about F/TR.By not claiming 6-7k barrel life in F/TR with a made-up .308 Win load?
Here is a more realistic one of you. This is a rather hot load that is sorta above SAMMI specs and yields 2830fps.

Bellow is what your average shooter would probably be comfortable. 2750fps. Same bullet much safer PSI levels. Not to much different. The average shooter would not see a decline in accuracy from a hunting rifle till about 6-8000 rounds.

Now to get back on track. I have watched Suppressors come and go in european F/TR (F-Class). They are convenient but I see them adding a lot of complications like the back pressure and heat they introduce into the end of the barrels.
