Sightron Slll PLR 8-32X56 MOA2 Riflescope

I'm looking at a Sightron 8- 32 power scope with thick scope lines and a red dot center. Any input would be appreciated. I'm also looking at a Athlon Ares Gen 2 UHD 4.5-30x56 APLR12 FFP IR MOA scope. They are both about the same price now. The Sightron is 2FP but has thicker lines.

Steve, I have that Sightron scope in the 6-24x50. I really like it and the red dot turns off in between each brightness setting.
Personally I prefer the 6-24 over an 8-32 for a general purpose scope.
Also the red hashmarks offer good contrast with the white marks for good visibility.

Thanks for responding. I really like the retical as simple as possible. I would like just a duplex red dot long range retical, but the ones I like are $4000.00.

Steve, I’m sure you already know but I just remembered that model your looking at is on sale in October.

Thanks, I saw that and I better jump, it's what suits me best with my pocket book. That $4000.000 one is sweet , but as long as my wife keeps rescuing horses from the trip to Mexico only to come back made into a hamburger patties, the Sightron is the one for me. Camera Land and EuroOptic both have them marked down.
