Good Question ..........Before ya'll reply with questions as to whether I've called them to ask--no, I haven't (yet)--but does anyone know if Sightron offers a "refurb" or "refinish" service for a scope that has scuffs and scratches but is otherwise in good functional condition?
Guess I'm not familiar with "room temperature" Cera-Kote.room temperature Cera-Kote?
No. Cerakote refers to them as "oven cure" and "air cure". The air cure is what he's referring to. They're applied the same way, just cured differently. The oven cure cerakote is a lot tougher than the air cure.Is that the same as Duracoat?
All things considered, the air cure is fairly tough. Unless you use your scope as a pry bar, you should be just fine.No. Cerakote refers to them as "oven cure" and "air cure". Thanks, I have emailed them and am awaiting a reply.I emailed Sightron customer service with some repair questions a few years ago. They were quick to respond with answers- customerservice@sightron.com
