I have a friend that has this scope and it has great glass. I have 2 in that power sfp and like them both. plus one 8-32. All newer than 5 years old and very pleased with them. How about the siii 6-24 ffp?
I just bought a sIII zero stop 10x50x60 nice glass butt no better than my 3 year old 8x32x56 sIII love the very simple zero stop. Are the new SIII with zero stop the same glass as let’s say one that’s 5-6 years old?
Call Sightron, ask for a tech. They are a nice bunch and will answer your questions.Ok, I was just debating if I should sell mine and buy a new model ... but if the glass isn’t any different it’s not worth it
I will do thatCall Sightron, ask for a tech. They are a nice bunch and will answer your questions.
I have that scope. To my eye, for the $, the glass is phenomenal. Mine is probably 2 years old. Rock solid, adjustments repeat. The reticle is just OK, IMO. The only thing I don’t like is the way the turrets are fastened with the single, central torx screw. How about the siii 6-24 ffp?
call the factory they can put zero stop on older scopes for $170. I had one done and it is great.Call Sightron, ask for a tech. They are a nice bunch and will answer your questions.

Yesterday I emailed Sightron about installing a zero stop on an SIII 8-32x56 scope. Got a reply back this AM that said they could do it, the cost would be $175 but pointed out that the markings on the turret would be white instead of the bronze on the original turret. I haven't decided whether or not to do it, but I do think that $175 is reasonable. And I slightly prefer white markings to bronze.call the factory they can put zero stop on older scopes for $170.
